Nude on the Moon (also released under the title "Moon Dolls") is the second of eight nudism-related films Wishman produced and directed. The nudist or nudist camp genre was a fairly common exploitation film genre of the late 1950s and early 1960s. While most nudist films were set within the confines of a conventional nudist camp, apparently as a promotional gimmick Wishman decided to invent a story about the discovery of a nudist civilization living on the Moon. from Wikipedia

In 1961, the American go to the moon. Upon arrival, they are captured by the Moon people who are a bunch of semi-nudists (they are topless but wear panties).

The first half-hour of this movie is just plain boring stuff about some rich scientist building a rocket to go to the moon. I mean, this isn't Philip Kaufman's The Right Stuff we are talking about here. The rest of the film is only interesting because we see moon women going about topless (why the heck do they wear panties anyway? Censorship, that's why). And that's it. No sex. No genitalia. But it's still very much worth watching just to see all those old-schooled, all-natural breasts. Nowadays one can hardly see a pair of big boobs and not think about plastic surgery.

1973, Spain. A man and his wife is offered to direct and star in their own amateur porn film. Desperate for money, they accept.

To their surprise, Alfredo and Carmen soon find they have previously unsuspected gifts: he, for directing erotic films, and she, for acting in them. Before long, they are swimming in cash and - to Carmen's discomfort - being recognized in public by star-struck Scandinavian travelers.

Still, the couple fail to conceive a child, which leaves Carmen increasingly depressed as Alfredo withdraws into his work. When they head to an off-season tourist resort to film Alfredo's "masterpiece," a Bergmanesque sex film called "Torremolinos 73," an unexpected turn of events brings them to a crisis.

This film's gentle, humanist vision of pornographic filmmaking as a sexual and aesthetic act of emancipation is a far cry from the graphic social realism of recent films like "A Hole in My Heart"; like Tim Burton's "Ed Wood," this is an affectionate portrait of the artist as a movie-mad amateur.

Mr. Cámara, whom viewers will recognize as the nurse obsessed with a comatose patient in Pedro Almodóvar's film "Talk to Her," gives an exquisitely calibrated performance as a beleaguered Everyman who discovers himself behind the viewfinder of a movie camera, while Ms. Peña is equally perfect as the initially repressed, then irrepressible Carmen.

The long, conflict-free middle section of the film, which includes musical montages of clips from Alfredo's contributions to the encyclopedia, slackens the pace a bit. But "Torremolinos 73" is such a joyous celebration of sex and filmmaking that viewers will forgive its director for taking time out to enjoy a little of both.

Forget about Zack and Miri make a porno and all the rest, Torremolinos is the real deal. Of all the movies about the pornography, this is the best, equal to Boogie Nights, I dare say. It's funny and full of humanity. I highly recommend you to check this gem out.

There is a killer on the loose again, a ladykiller on the loose. They call him Angel Killer. His specialty: pregnant prostitutes. His trademark: the victims all wear a pair of panties with angels prints. Enter Bradley Cooper, a cop who has been wasting his life away ever since his wife and unborn child died. Cop follows clues. Clues lead to beautiful lingerie model with weapons of mass destruction (Amanda Righetti). Cop gains new-found respect for life via bombdigity fornication with aforementioned model. From same model, cop also gets ass-shave followed by knife-handle stuck up arse. Bitch'n! Mega bulk twists ensue.

Angel Blade has the look and feel of seedy B-movies from the 80's. It makes me feel nostalgic, which is no small feat, given that I spent the 80's in a third-world country. If sleazy, cheesy fun is your cup of tea, by all means check this out.

Lots of nudity, almost no sex. Amanda Righetti is gorgeous, too bad she was only ever nude in this one movie.
