I'm glad a visitor requested Gillian Anderson's nude scenes because it gives me a chance to make more people aware of Straightheads aka Closure, a fine, underrated revenge flick from the UK.
Danny Dyer plays a guy who installs security systems for a living. It is a job that comes with great perks. For example, it allows Danny to watch Gillian Anderson change clothes while he tests the camera he is installing for her - a fact that, come to think of it, is probably no accident on her part. One thing leads to another, they hook up. The newly coupled couple then heads to the countryside for a weekend of wonderful coupling. But violence awaits them in the form of rural rednecks who gang rape the woman and beat the boyfriend so hard he not only loses the use of an eye but becomes useless in bed as well.
And this is where I find myself thinking about the saying "Turning the other cheek". Let's say you're a really devout catholic woman and you follow the Bible to the letter. Then let's say one day you get raped in the vagina. When it's over and done, would you willingly turn your ass up and say to the rapists "Gentlemen, while you're at it, here is the other hole"? Lucky for us, instead of turning the other ass cheek, Gillian's character decides to go with another biblical saying "And thine eye shall not pity; but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot." Meaning: you stick dick in my hole, I'll stick barrel of rifle in yours and we'll see who hurts more.
There is no complex psychology or complicated plot here, Straightheads is a straight revenge movie, in the vein of I Spit On Your Grave. It is good and pure entertainment. By the way, "straightheads" is what British gangsters call people who aren't involved in crime. This, I learned from reading the reviews.
Nudity: brief view of Gillian Anderson's hooters as she changes clothes. A non-nude but very arousing sex scene in the woods where her moans would make your little head straight. In another sex scene we see briefly but deliciously her boobies.
