-Scoptophobia: Fear of being seen or stared at.
-Kolpophobia: Fear of genitals, particularly female.
-Phallophobia: Fear of penis, especially erect.
-Xenophobia: Fear of strangers or foreigners.

I believe that to believe in something or someone is a good thing, but to blindly follow the advices of some phobia-ridden bloke from 1 500 years ago is, it seems to me, inadvisable. Apparently, The Prophet also suffered from an irrational fear of exposing and/or looking at the female thigh, a phobia for which I have found no name. He sure was unique in that way.

I know some of you religious nuts are gonna be very pissed-off because I mocked the Islamic Prophet. If that is the case, I am very happy. But know that I also, on numerous occasions, made fun of other religions, especially Christianity. I just can't help it. Making fun of religion is so much fun!! I believe in equality therefore I shit on all religions equally. The world would be a much better place without any kind of religion.

Now that I have filled my quota of blasphemy for this week, let's talk about Ziab la ta'kol al lahem aka Kuwait Connection aka Wolves Don't Eat Meat (1973). It's a B-grade Egyptian thriller that is by no means a masterpiece of the genre. What makes it interesting, though, is the fact that for an Arabic movie, it contains quite a bit of bare T&A. There really is not much to see here, and after watching it you'd be like "So? What is the big deal?". But remember this was made (and later banned) in Egypt, an Islamic country, and we all know the power that be in those countries all have a giant bug up their arse about boobs in movies.

I would like to say thanks to courageous filmmaker Férid Boughedir for this movie. I live in Montreal, Canada, a wonderful multicultural city.
