For a movie about de Sade and directed by Jess Franco, no less, I didn't expect this film to be so tame. No sex and the nudity isn't very explicit. Still, its merit may be that it shows Romina Power's T&A.

Romina Power is the eldest daughter of American actor Tyrone Power and his second wife, Mexican-American actress Linda Christian.

Movie lovers (the ones that don't think anything made before 2000 is "old") will no doubt know of Tyron Power, the handsome star of such swashbuckling classics as The Mark of Zorro, Blood and Sand, The Black Swan, The Black Rose.

Though the film's story about a beautiful teacher having love affairs with 5 men may fool you into thinking it is yet another insipid erotic comedy, it is anything but. Instead of raunchy jokes and gratuitous nudity, the films relies on its witty black humor and twists and turns to win audience. A nice change at least.

There are still sex scenes and nudity here and there but they are integral to the plot.
