I wonder what bug crawled up Meg Ryan's lovely butt that made her decide to be in the nude after years of abstaining from showing tits (I am, of course, not counting the times when her right or left tit made their brief appearance here and there).

Maybe she was suffering from a mid-life crisis and wanted to leave something memorable for the world to remember her by. Maybe she was thinking "Oh my god, I am 42 already, my breast are starting to lose the battle against gravity. Perhaps it's time to show the world my beautiful boobies, just this one time, so that 100 years from now I'll still be remembered fondly every time someone jerks off to my nude scenes."
Anyway she forgot to tell Jane Campion not to make the scenes too blurry or not to ruin them with quick-cuts. What is the point of Meg Ryan being naked if you can't get a real good look at her uncovered body?

If not for Meg Ryan, the sex scenes ain't nothing to talk about; and the nudity is only too fleeting. MTV-style editing bullshit totally ruins it all. When the fuck will they ever learn?
And what the hell is wrong with Jane Campion? Was it because she was so desperate for money that she directed this movie?
