Extremely talented director Neil Jordan made a brilliant adaptation of Graham Greene's novel of the same name.

Poor Stephen Rea suspects his wife (Julianne Moore) is cheating on him. He then asks Ralph Fiennes to help identifying her lover, not knowing that Ralph himself had an affair with his wife just a few years ago.

Very hot sex scene between Julianne Moore and Ralph Fiennes.

I haven't read the book but the movie is certainly great. One of my all time favorites. Note that Ralph Fiennes also starred in another award-winning romance drama in 1996, The English Patient.

Stephen Rea was da bomb in The Crying Game and Citizen X. I am still waiting for his comeback :(
