OK, I am officially confused. There is supposedly a difference between go-go dancers and strippers, right? Go-go dancers are simply scantily clad but don't take their clothes off. Strippers strip. But, in Abel Ferrara's Go Go Tales, a sleazy flick featuring a stellar ensemble cast (Willem Dafoe, Bob Hoskins, Matthew Modine, Asia Argento) about a go-go dancing club, some of those so-called go-go dancers bare their boobs and do sexual things on stage. Maybe the modern definition of go-go dancers has changed. Maybe now go-go dancers and strippers are really one and the same? Still, to be on the safe side, if you ever go out with a girl who says she is a go-go dancer, don't call her a stripper, you may end up getting no pussy.

Anyway, for a movie about strippers...err..I mean go-go dancers, there is relatively little nudity here, compared to skin classics such as Dancing at The Blue Iguana, Showgirls and Striptease.

Worth watching though, especially to see Asia Argento indulges in a little 'tongue action' with a...dog on stage. You go-go girl!!
